'We're still in shock': How a Newmarket family won big at The Brook Casino in Seabrook

Marian Olson and her family rang in the New Year with a windfall they won't soon forget.

The Newmarket native won the grand prize of The Big Ride giveaway at The Brook on New Year's Day – a $50,000 check to use toward the purchase of any vehicle at an Enxing dealership. In a surprising turn of events, Olson's daughter, Serena Beauchesne, also from Newmarket, found herself holding the gift box containing the second-place prize of $7,500 in cash.
