Historical racing machines (HHR) look and operate much like other gaming machines. However, instead of randomizing the outcome, HHRs determine winners based on previously run horse races. HHR is a true pari-mutuel wagering system delivered in an entertaining video experience. Machines allow users to look at the horses’ odds and handicap the race, place specific types of wagers, or elect to automatically handicap the race. The game looks like a traditional game but it functions the same as placing a wager at an OTB Kiosk and the results are displayed as both a graphical representation of a past horse race while another screen provides animation.
